Published: First Journal Article - in Yearbook of International Environmental Law

I am more than thrilled to share that my first journal article is published in the Yearbook of International Environmental Law (YIEL) of Oxford University Press. To read the piece - https://lnkd.in/dKNf_GVt

šŸ‘‡ Here's a brief summary of the article:

šŸŒ± The demand of youths for intergenerational justice and equity amidst the climate crisis, is 'greening' International law.

šŸŒ± The protests, use of social media, the making of art and/or destroying of art, creative performances like music, dance etc for climate justice is enhancing imageries of the same, and thus contributing to the soft power en route to Agenda2030 - this can be observed in law, politics, and media.

šŸŒ± I was able to look further at how advocacy of intergenerational justice and equity for Climate justice across the globe, is bolstered through a humanrights narrative.

Also very grateful to the editors of YIEL Maria Gavouneli and Timo Koivurova.

This article was written after the conference in Central European University which happened in collaboration with European Society of International Law, on May 2023. I had to attend online because of a Visa issue, however, grateful for technology and the very accommodative crowd.

Thanks to Dr. Tommaso Soave and team for the opportunity to present my paper.
