Working together for the poster
Immensely proud of the amazing poster work "Empowering the Eco-Anxious" by the University of Leeds students - Jyoti Narsude, Prahelika Deka, Sop Satchwell, Eliza Taswell-Fryer, Hina Komiya, Yiying Wang, Vaibhav Pramode Nair, Safia Khan and Ellie Overton (3 students each from Undergraduate, Masters and Doctoral studies) for Action for Climate Empowerment (ACE) Gallery 2024 at the UN Climate Change SB60 Conference in Bonn, Germany.
Huge thanks to the valuable guidance from senior academics Dr. Harriet Thew, Dr. Susanne Lorenz, Dr. Vasiliki Kioupi and Dr. Viktoria Spaiser. It was a joy to spearhead this work with Harriet - and to enjoy seeing the enthusiasm of the students and faculty across disciplines!! You can check more about the poster work here "Empower the eco-anxious: what is the University doing to address eco-anxiety in young people?" (link)
Vaibhav and I will be presenting in Bonn on the 4th of June, Eliza and Vasiliki Kioupi in Paris for the UNESCO event, and Hina and team for the Priestley Launch Event on 20th June.
Grateful to the UNFCCC Task Force and Priestley Centre for Climate Futures at the University of Leeds - and the wonderful people who supported this initiative throughout - Shona Smith, Clare Martynski, Lauren Burton and more.
